34 security men killed in Naxal violence this year: Govt

Thirty-four security force personnel have lost their lives in 357 incidents of Naxal violence this year in various states of the country.

"In the current year (upto April 15, 2015) 52 attacks on security forces personnel took place by the Left Wing Extremists resulting in 16 casualties," Minister of State for Home Haribhai Parathibhai Chaudhary said in a written reply to Rajya Sabha.
