35 sick after eating stale prasad

At least 35 people were taken ill after eating stale prasad in a Lakshmi Puja pandal at Thakurdaha in South 24-Parganas district, health officials said today.

They were admitted to Padmerhat primary health centre on Wednesday and their condition is stable now.
