36 passengers injured as two buses collide head on

At least 36 persons were injured when two private buses collided near Udumalpet in nearby Tirupur district.

The mishap occurred near Kumaralingam, police said.

The injured, some of them seriously, had been admitted to the government hospitals in Udumalpet and here, they said.
