4 army personnel injured in militant attack

Four Army personnel were injured in an ambush by Zelengrong United Front (ZUF) activists at Khulen village in Tamenglong district of Manipur this morning, a top district official said.

The patrolling Army personnel were fired by the militants causing injury to four personnel. The injured were brought to the Army Hospital at Leimakhong, the official said.

One of the injured, a Habildar, was in critical condition, the official said.
