4 block officials suspended for being absent from work in J&K

Four government employees, including two junior engineers, have been suspended for being absent from duty in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir, officials said today.
Noushera sub-divisional magistrate Abdul Sattar paid a surprise visit to the block development office in Kila Darhal yesterday following complaints from people, and found two junior engineers, a junior assistant and an accountant absent.
He ordered their suspension, they said.
The four have been issued show-cause notice.
