Four children have died and dozens others taken ill following an outbreak of diarrhoea in Malakpur village in Shamli district.
Chief Medical Officer Vinita Agnihotri said a medical team has been sent to the village and samples have been collected for further tests.
Sana (2), Umer (5), Suresh (7) and Kavita (5) died of the disease last evening, villagers said.
Dozens of others have been taken ill and currently undergoing treatment in the village, they added.
