Four youths were arrested for allegedly assaulting and injuring two police personnel when they questioned them over a brawl with the staff of a hotel here, police said today.
A sub-inspector suffered a fracture in his middle finger in one hand while the head constable was left with a broken nose in the assault late last night, police said.
Cases under IPC for various offences including attempt to murder were registered against the four who were produced before a magistrate and remanded to 15 days judicial custody.

The four belonging to Ammapet had arrived at the hotel late last night and sought a room. When the staff told them that there was no accommodation, they picked up a quarrel saying they were regular guests and should be given a room.
On being informed by the staff, SI Vijaykumar and Head Constable Sathyaraj rushed to the hotel and started questioning the four when they were attacked.
The two police personnel informed the police station following which Assistant SP Saroj Kumar Tagore and Inspector Saravanan reached the spot and arrested the four persons.
