4 IIS officers transfered

The information and broadcasting ministry today transferred four senior Indian Information Serives (IIS) officers.

The new transfer orders came nearly a month after 24 officers were shifted.

Another seven officers have been transferred as the regional officers (ROs) at various offices of the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).

Esther Kar, who was put on "compulsory wait" after Press Information Bureau (PIB) DG Ghanshyam Goel replaced her last month as the new DG of the Directorate of Advertising and Visual Publicity (DAVP), was posted as director general (DG), PIB, Bhopal, according to an order today.

Anil Kumar Saxena, who was DG, PIB in New Delhi, has been made DG, PIB, Kolkata, while K Muthukumar, who was DG in PIB, Chennai has been transferred as DG, PIB, Mumbai.
 

J P Mattu Singh, who was serving as Additional Director. General (ADG), PIB, New Delhi has been posted as ADG (News) in All India Radio.

The transfers or postings of the officers in the Selection Grade and Senior Administrative Grade (SAG) of the IIS Group 'A' are with immediate effect, the order said.

In a seperate order, the ministry transferred seven officers as RO at various offices of the CBFC.

On November 24, the ministry had transferred 24 senior officers.
