Four members of a family were injured after six armed men allegedly robbed a house on gunpoint at Adarsh colony of Deoband here, police said today.
The incident occurred last night when the armed men barged into a residence here and decamped with jewelleries and cash after taking its residents hostage on gunpoint, Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural), Jagdish Sharma said.
They also attacked the hostages with sharp-edged weapon, he said.

The robbers injured the owner of the house Dharamveer, his wife Suman, father Mahaveer and mother Mehandi, he said, adding that they were admitted to district hospital.
An operation has been lodged to arrest the accused, the ASP said, efforts are underway to nab them.
