Four persons were killed and two injured in separate incidents of lightning strikes and wall collapse in Murshidabad district today, police said.
The district experienced heavy showers for four hours this morning.
Two persons were killed and two injured when lightning struck them while they were working in a field at Khargram area of the district, they said.
In another incident of lightning strike, a 12-year-old boy was killed in Bharatpur area of the district while he was playing in a field, police said.
One person was killed when portion of a wall collapsed and fell on him at Sagardighi area of the district, the police said.
