4 killed, 8 injured as jeep falls off bridge in Madhya Pradesh

Four persons including three women were killed and 8 others injured when a vehicle carrying them skidded and fell off a small bridge at Devka village, around 55 kms from here, police said today.
The mishap occurred last night when the victims were returning home to Amarkot village from a marriage party at Chota Dungra, Kakanvani police station in charge L Dangi said.
The jeep fell from the bridge 15-feet below in which Basanti Bai (55), Geeta Bai (57), Tina (23) and the driver Rajesh (30) were killed on the spot, Dangi said.
The injured were admitted to a hospital and investigations are underway, the officer added.
