4 killed as car falls into a drain

Four persons, including three members of a family, were today killed when their car fell into a drain near Chowkiman in the district, police said.

The victims were identified as Gurmail Singh (32), his wife Rajwant Kaur (30), son Yovanpreet Singh (7) and a family friend Jaspal Singh (43).

All the four deceased belonged to Moga and were returning after participating in a birthday party held at Kular village, police said.
