4 killed as car falls into gorge

Four persons were killed when the car in which they were travelling fell into a gorge near Chevga village on Bhawai Chadhna road, about 125 km from here, today.

The deceased were on their way to Chadhna village from Bhawai village and the driver, who is among the dead, reportedly lost control over the vehicle while negotiating a sharp curve near Chevga village, village patwari Mohan lal, who immediately reached the spot, said.

All the four occupants were killed on the spot.

The deceased were identified as Surjan Singh, owner of the car and resident of Kuffar village, Kiran Thakur of Jablog village, Nisha of Kuhal-Devna village, and Vinita of Katapathar (Vikas Nagar) village in Uttrakhand.
 

Mohan Lal said the deceased were identified with the help of their diaries and other belongings and the bodies had been sent for post mortem.
