Four persons were today killed and two injured when the car they were travelling in rammed into a stationary truck near Bhavdin village on National Highway 9 here, police said.
The incident took place when the six persons were on their way to Sirsa in the car for attending a programme of Dera Sacha Sauda Sect head Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, from Fatehabad, they said.
Following the mishap, three of the car's occupants died on the spot and as many injured were rushed to a hospital where one of them succumbed to injuries, police said.
A case has been registered against the truck driver who is absconding, they said, adding that efforts were on to identify the victims.
