At least four people including two children were killed and eight others injured today in a landslide in north-eastern Nepal triggered by heavy rains.
The incident happened in Jiri of Dolakha district this morning following heavy rains.
The rescue operations were carried out by the Nepal Army, Nepal Police and Armed Police Force.

The Jiri-Those road has been blocked due to the landslide since today morning, police said.
The injured have been admitted to a local hospital in Jiri.
Meanwhile, the death toll in Monday's landslide at Syabun village of Sankhuwasabha district climbed to 10 after three missing persons were declared dead today.
Earlier, 156 people were killed when a massive landslide swept away entire Jure village in neighbouring Sindhupalchok last Saturday.
