4 killed in road accident in Rajasthan

Three girls were among four persons who were killed and nine others got injured when a tempo in which they were travelling collided with a truck at Goluwala here in the district, police said today.

The incident occurred late last night when the victims were returning from Dera Sacha Pramukh's village Gursar.

The deceased were identified as Meenakshi (16), Laxmi (7), Manju (17) and Rani (27), police said, adding that the injured were rushed to a government hospital in bordering Sriganganagar district.

Police has impounded the truck while the vehicle driver managed to escape from the spot.
