4 militants, 2 soldiers killed in northwest Pakistan

At least four militants and two soldiers were killed in a gunbattle in the restive tribal region in northwest Pakistan tonight, officials said.

The militants and soldiers were killed during an operation in a frontier region of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, bordering the North Waziristan Agency, the army's media wing said.
