Four women were killed and 15 others injured today when the truck in which they were travelling overturned near Khisri village in Amreli district's Dhari taluka, police said.
The women and other people were travelling in the truck to Chlala village from Khisri in Amreli, about 260 kms from here, to attend a wedding ceremony when the driver lost control of the vehicle following which it overturned, they said.
Three women died on the spot while one succumbed to her injuries in hospital.
The truck driver was also severely injured, police said.
The injured have been shifted to a hospital in Dhari.
The deceased have been identified as Geeta, Lili, Jasu and Sharda, police said.
