A four-year-old girl was beaten to death allegedly by her father at Bengawad village in Giridih district, the police said today.
Shambhu Pandit, whose wife has gone to her father's place after allegedly being beaten up by him, thrashed their daughter Salu Kumari, with a rolling-pin last night and the girl died on the spot, the police said.
Pandit, who allegedly returns home drunk, has been arrested, the police said.
