40 girl students of govt polytechnic college hospitalised

The girls were admitted to the Coimbatore Medical College Hospital last night after they complained of nausea and vomitted after dinner.

Initially they were taken to a private hospital but referred to CMCH when they continued to complain of sickness and acute stomachache, the sources said.

All of them were put on drips and given injections and their condition was now stated to be stable.
