Over 40 houses were reduced
to ashes when a fire broke out in Punasia village under Ghorabandha police station in Ghatsila sub-division today, fire brigade sources said.
Two fire-tenders from Baharagora went to the spot and were yet to bring the blaze under control, fire brigade sources said.
No loss of life was reported in the incident till now.
The cause of the fire and the quantum of loss of property were not ascertained yet.
