40 kg charas seized

A consignment of 40 kg charas was seized by the RPF from a passenger train today near Cakhia railway station in Bihar's East Champaran district.

Acting on a tip off, the RPF men carried out search in a coach of Gorakhpur-Muzaffarpur passenger train and seized the charas in 82 packets, valued at several lakhs of rupees, official sources said.

No arrest was made in this connection, they added.
