400 kg poppy husk seized in J-K, 2 held

Police have seized 400 kg of poppy husk from a truck and arrested two persons on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir.

A truck was last evening intercepted at a check point on the national highway in Banihal belt of Ramban district, a police officer said today.

They recovered 400 kg of poppy husk from the truck and arrested its driver and conductor, both residents of Punjab, he said, adding truck has been seized and a case registered in the matter.
