42 monkeys found dead in UP

Fourty-two monkeys were found dead in Nakhasa area here, with police suspecting that they were poisoned.

The monkeys were found dead yesterday on Rahtol road, police said.

It is suspected that they were poisoned.

The carcasses have been sent for postmortem to ascertain the cause of the death, police said, adding an FIR has been registered in the matter and investigations are on.
