42-year-old man killed as welding-cylinder explodes

A 42-year-old man died and five others, including three children, were injured when a welding-cylinder exploded here today, police said.

Police said the man was welding some material behind the local bus-stand when the cylinder burst.

The children were going to school when the explosion took place.

The injured have been admitted to hospital.
