42-year-old man run over by truck in Pathankot

A 42-year-old man was today killed after the bicycle he was riding on was hit by a truck at Sujanpur area here, police said.

The victim, Rakesh Kumar was riding home on his bicycle after buying LPG cylinder when he was hit by a truck, they said.

He was rushed to local civil hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.

The truck driver, however, managed to escape, police said, adding a case has been registered in this regard and investigation is underway.
