45 gelatine sticks seized

Forty-five gelatine sticks and an equal number of detonators were seized and three persons arrested in this connection here today, police said.

The arrest followed a complaint lodged by a village administrative officer that some boulders were being exploded in 'poramboke' land (government land).

Police also seized a battery.
