Forty-seven people who were allegedly found involved in anti-social activities have been externed from the district for six months.
The were externed by the district magistrate under Gunda Act here yesterday.
On a police report, action has been taken against 47 people under the Gunda Act and preventive action taken against them for maintaining peace in the district, Additional District Magistrate Indermani Tripathi told reporters here today.
Earlier, police reported to the district magistrate about their anti-social activities.
