Five persons, including a Tehsildar, have been booked for fraudulently acquiring land, police said today.
Tehsildar Abhimanyu Verma and four others and did not adhere to the land deal they had entered and fraudulently acquired five bighas of land, more than what was mentioned in the agreement, police said.
Following a court's directive, a case has been registered against them at Patti police station.
