5 die as wall collapses

Five people, including three women, were killed and four injured when a 50-ft long wall collapsed in Survaya area here this evening, police said.

The wall gave way when a JCB machine was digging the foundation of a house, they said.

Three women and two children died instantly when the incident happened, police said.

The injured were admitted to a nearby hospital where their condition was stated to be serious.
