5 IPS, 22 PPS officers shifted in Punjab

Five IPS officers and 22 Punjab Police Services (PPS) officers were today transferred by the state government.

An official spokesman said that the IPS officers are of the 2012 batch and posted as Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASP).

The PPS are of DSP rank, he said.

IPS officer Sandeep Kumar Garg has been made ASP headquarters Ropar, Gulneet Singh as ASP, Patiala, Dhruv Dahiya as ACP, Ludhiana(North), Amneet Kondal as ACP, Jalandhar(North) and Akhil Chaudhary as ASP headquarters Fatehgarh Sahib.
