5-year-old boy's body found in water tank

The body of a five-year-old-boy, missing from his Barhwali Dhani home since Aug. 25, was today recovered from a water tank near Shiv Chowk, police said.

The parents of Shubham alleged that their son was murdered before being thrown into the tank.

The deceased's relatives along with locals staged a demonstration with shops remaining closed in Barhwali Dhani today in protest over the incident.

The minor's body has been sent to PGIMS Rohtak for a post mortem, police said, adding that a probe was on into the matter.
