A 50-year old quack who was practicing allopathy was arrested at nearby Emerald today, police said.
J V G Jayaprakash was arrested, based on complaints from some persons, who grew suspicious of his methods of treatment, and after an enquiry by Welfare department officials.
It was found Jayaparakash did not have a valid MBBS degree, police said, adding a large number of allopathy drugs also confiscated from his clinic.
