56-year-old woman murdered at her home in South 24 Parganas

A 56-year old woman was murdered at her home in South 24 Parganas district today, police sources said.

Sabita Das (56) was alone at her home at Champahati when the assailants entered her home and slit her throat and looted money from her house, the sources said.

Her daughter who stays nearby when she went to her mother's house found her murdered and immediately informed the police.
