58 kg Charas seized

Acting on a tip off, customs sleuths seized 46 kg charas from near Bhaisra bridge under Sugauli police station area, the sources said.

SSB jawans arrested a contraband smuggler Jaysar Mahto from Raxaul bus stand and recovered 12 kg charas from his possession, they said.

The contraband was worth Rs 18 lakhs in international market, the sources added.
