58-yr-old man shot dead in UP

A 58-year-old man was shot dead by some unidentified miscreants in Rani Ka Sarai area, police said today.

Chhedi Ram was shot at by some persons last night in Awavn village when he was returning home, Superintendent of Police, City, Vinod Kumar said, adding, he died on the spot.

The police has lodged an FIR in this connection and launched a manhunt to nab the assailants.
