Separate gangs of robbers allegedly looted two petrol pumps located on the Jaipur-Agra Highway and fled with a sum of Rs 6.08 lakh in the wee hours today, police said.
In the first incident, six robbers tied up the night duty employees at Kalakho petrol outlet, about 15 kms from Dausa, and looted a cash of Rs 5 lakh at gun-point before fleeing away in their vehicle, police said.
In another incident, Meena Petrol outlet on NH-11 was robbed of Rs 1.08 lakh by five robbers who fled with the cash after leaving the employees locked in a room, they said.
All check posts on the highways were alerted to nab the robbers, they added.
