6 buffaloes run over by train near Madurai

Six buffaloes were found dead along the railway track near Koodalputhur Railway station near here, after being hit by train late last night.

They buffaloes were removed with the help of railway workers and locals, police said today.

They said the buffaloes could have been hit by some express train.
