6 cops escorting TN minister hurt in road mishap

Six police personnel travelling in a car escorting Tamil Nadu Transport Minister Senthil Balaji were injured after their vehicle overturned near here today.

The minister was returning here after attending a function at a nearby village when the driver of the escort vehicle lost control over the car, resulting in the mishap at Kadavur, police said.

The injured policemen have been admitted to the government hospital in nearby Manaparai town, they added.
