6 engineering students among eight injured in mishap

At least eight persons, including six engineering students of a private college, were injured today when a dumper rammed into their vehicle in Echotech 1 area here, on the outskirts of Delhi.

A van carrying students of the private engineering college was hit by the vehicle near an under-construction shopping mall, police said.

Driver of the van and a faculty member were critically injured in the mishap.

The injured were rushed to a nearby private hospital where their condition is stated to be stable, police said.
