6 injured in cylinder blast in Poonch

Six persons were injured when a gas cylinder exploded during a marriage function in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir today.

The cylinder exploded during the function at residence of one Imtiaz Ahmed in Mendhar tehsil of Poonch district, police said.

Six persons were injured, police said, adding that they have been admitted to sub-district hospital at Mendhar.

One of the injured, whose condition was stated to be serious, was later shifted to Government Medical College (GMC) hospital.
