6 killed in coal mine blast in China
Six people have been killed in a coal mine gas blast in southwest China's Yunnan Province, officials said today.
The explosion happened at around 11:10 AM yesterday at the Shaba Coal Mine in Yanjin County. Rescue work is underway.
It wa not clear how many people were injured or trapped in the explosion.
Cause of the accident is being investigated, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.
