6-year-old girl abducted

Three unidentified persons allegedly abducted a six-year-old girl in Mandi Gobindgarh town of the district, police said today.

Girl's father Madan Rao, who lives in a rented accommodation at Deshmesh Colony in the town, said his daughter Jyoti was playing with her brother in their street last evening when three unidentified persons came in a three-wheeler and took her away, police said.

On Rao's statement, a case has been registered against the unidentified persons and a manhunt has been launched to trace the child.
