A 60-year-old man died today when his vehicle skidded off the road and rolled down a hill at Khellani area of Doda district.
Hukam Chand, who was riding an Alto 800 and was on his way from Jammu to Gandoh, died when he lost the control over the vehicle, SHO, Doda, Uday Wazir said.
Police immediately rushed to the spot and rescued him along with locals. He was shifted to District Hospital Doda where doctors declared him brought dead, he said.
After legal formalities, the body was handed over to family members, SHO said.
