62-yr-old tutor accused of molesting 10-yr-old

A 10-year-old girl was allegedly molested by a 62-year-old Urdu tutor at his residence in outer Delhi's Shahbad Dairy area, police said.

The accused, identified as one Raiz Ahmed (62), was arrested today after the victim's family lodged a complaint.

Ahmed stayed at rented lodgings in the Metro Vihar area where he conducted Urdu classes in batches.

"The victim had joined his tuition classes in March. The incident came to light when she told her mother of her ordeal and they called up the police control room," said a police official.
