650 gelatin sticks seized in TN

Six hundred and fifty gelatin sticks and some detonators were today seized at Devipattinam seashore, 50 km from here, police said.

Acting on a tip-off, 'Q' branch police personnel, who were monitoring the area, found two persons moving about on the seashore, they said.

On seeing the police personnel, the two persons dropped the bags they were carrying and fled. When police opened the two bags, they found the gelatin sticks and detonators.

A search is on for the two persons, police said.
