7 arrested for attacking trader

Seven persons, including a pradhan, were arrested for allegedly attacking a trader on Yamuna Expressway, police said today.

Kishan Singh, pradhan of Pelseda village, along with six persons beat the trader after the canter he was travelling in collided with a pick-up van yesterday, Dy SP Sanjai Kumar said, adding they also beat the driver of the canter.

The pradhan and other six persons were booked under various sections of IPC, he said.
