7 criminals arrested

Seven criminals were arrested while

they were planning a robbery in Mahesh Nagar area here, police said today.

"One country made revolver, gun and cartridges, sword, screwdriver were also recovered from them," a police official said.

The robbers were identified as Jitu, Lalu, Nanda, Baly, Deva, Pappu and Raju, DCP Ravi Dutt said, adding, they were planning to rob a jeweller's house in Govindpuri area when they were held by a local police team last night.

Several cases of theft, burglary and chain snatching are lodged against them with various police station in Jaipur, he said.
