7 killed, 5 hurt in separate road mishaps

A car, carrying six passengers to Udaipur collided head on with a truck near Gathila area in Bhilwara district, police said.

Four persons, including a baby, were killed and two others received serious injuries in the mishap, they said.

In Jaipur, three monks were killed and as many injured when their SUV rammed into a stationary truck in Dudu area.

The victims were on their way to Jaipur from Gujarat when the mishap occurred on the Ajmer-Jaipur highway this morning.

The injured were being treated at the SMS government hospital in Jaipur.
