7 killed due to lightning strikes in West Bengal

At least seven people were killed and over 9 injured in different districts of West Bengal after lightning struck them amid heavy rains this morning, officials said.

While four persons were killed in district, two incidents of deaths due to lightning strike were reported from North 24 district, a state disaster management department official said.
